Both Ben Roethlisberger & Drew Brees were hurt in losses on Sunday. Big Ben suffered an elbow injury in a loss to the Seahawks in Pittsburgh & Brees throwing hand was injured in a Saints’ loss to the Rams when Aaron Donald made contact with the New Orleans QB. The latest on Big Ben is that he is out for the season & will undergo surgery.
Ben Roethlisberger underwent an MRI on his right elbow that revealed he will need season-ending surgery this week. He will be placed on IR.

As for Brees, he is also determined that surgery is the next step.
The next step for Drew Brees is to decide who is doing the surgery and what procedure he’ll do. That could alter the time frame. But Teddy Bridgewater is the new starting QB for the #Saints. https://t.co/pciqVbBoN2

In Tuesday’s pod, I’ll have more on how I see these injuries affecting both teams.
