Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger Out for Season; Saints’ Drew Brees Likely Out 6 Weeks

Both Ben Roethlisberger & Drew Brees were hurt in losses on Sunday. Big Ben suffered an elbow injury in a loss to the Seahawks in Pittsburgh & Brees throwing hand was injured in a Saints’ loss to the Rams when Aaron Donald made contact with the New Orleans QB. The latest on Big Ben is that he is out for the season & will undergo surgery.

Mike Tomlin & the Steelers will turn to backup Mason Rudolph in the meantime.

As for Brees, he is also determined that surgery is the next step.

With a time table of 6-8 weeks before returning the Saints will have Teddy Bridgewater at the helm.

In Tuesday’s pod, I’ll have more on how I see these injuries affecting both teams.
