PSG Lite Blanks Real Madrid, Atletico-Juventus Draw, Man City & Bayern Munich Win & Spurs Draw in Greece

The second session of UEFA Champions League Matchday 1 was completed on Wednesday & with some monster matchups it was an exciting day to tune in.

PSG-Real Madrid will kick us off & with PSG missing Neymar, Cavani & Mbappe, Real Madrid were favorites to go to the French capital & take three points from the host, but Angel Di Maria had other ideas.

Atletico-Juventus was another matchup of titans & with Juventus going up 2-0, Atletico needed a comeback at home.

Ronaldo had his chance to break the deadlock & to win it for Juve with this attempt on goal that would have been seen everywhere if it hit the back of the net.

Man City made light of the fact that they are missing their 1st & 2nd choice centerbacks. Pep’s squad went to Shaktar & won easily 3-0.

Bayern faced Red Star in Munich & though Red Star was in the game, Bayern was too much including this training ground special for the 3rd goal.

Tottenham, oh Tottenham, what are we to do with you. As is customary, Harry Kane scored from the spot & Lucas doubled Spurs lead but Olympiacos would not be denied their point. A poor result for Spurs after going up 2-0.

In the other matches, Brugge Galatasaray played to a 0-0 draw, Moscow got a 2-1 result in Leverkusen & Zagreb smashed Atalanta 4-0.

Matchday 2 is October 1st & 2nd.
