College Football Week 7 Recap, Oklahoma, Bama & LSU Hold Serve, UGA Upset

A huge week in college football was capped off by some top teams continuing perfect seasons along with UGA being upset by South Carolina.

#6 Oklahoma & #11 Texas faced off in the Cotton Bowl & after a slow first half, the scoring started. Jalen Hurts hit CeeDee Lamb on this flea flicker TD.

Sam Ehlinger & Texas wouldn’t go away. The Longhorns QB led the offense down the field & into the end zone with the whole 4th quarter to play.

Hurts hit Lamb again to extend their lead, UT got a late score but could not recover the onside kick. Sooners won it, 34-27.

#1 Alabama traveled to College Station to take on #24 Texas A&M. Kellen Mond & the Aggies had the perfect opening drive to get on the board.

But it was all Bama after that, Tua Tagovailoa hit Devonta Smith on slant that went to the house.

Bama’s next drive was capped off by a Tua toss to Najee Harris to go up 2 scores.

Bama killed the game off on special teams with this punt block. The game finished 47-28.

#5 LSU hosted #7 Florida in Death Valley on Saturday Night & with the 1st half ending tied at 21, we were all in for a hell of a second half. The Gators took the lead on this Kyle Trask pass to Van Jefferson for the TD.

LSU tied it & then took the 35-38 lead on this Tyrion Davis-Price TD scamper.

LSU QB Joe Burrow put the Gators away for good with this TD pass to Ja’Marr Chase.

#3 UGA was upset by South Carolina, 20-17 in 2OT. SCAR had the halftime lead after this Jake Fromm pick 6.

After UGA tied it, Fromm threw another pick in the first OT to end UGA’s possession.

The Dawgs had a chance to extend the game to a 3rd overtime but kicker Rodrigo Blankenship’s game tying field was wide right.

#2 Clemson hammered Florida State & #8 Wisconsin blanked Michigan State in other top 10 action.
