The USMNT was once again embarrassed on the pitch & this time it was at the feet of our northern neighbors, Canada. Canada beat the US 2-0 on a night where it could have been 5-0. Twitter was a hot spot for a lot of fan frustrations.
No way to sugar coat it, USA were beyond bad tonight. Very little quality and where was the grit and fight? Great night and deserved win for Canada. Alphonso Davies a real talent.

Our US Men's National Team seems rudderless. We would never stand for a performance like this from our Women's Team. We should not settle for it just because it is merely our Men πΊπΈπ’ pic.twitter.com/RGv3UvbvVA

US Men's Soccer Team just lost 2-0 to Canada. First Canadian win in 34 years. Should be a National Outcry. Saddest Truth is no one cares. Even US soccer fans are apathetic about Men's National Team. Slid back to periphery of American sporting consciousness. Utterly Insignificant pic.twitter.com/y703rsktA5

“I want to compete in new competitions. I think about the World Cup and the European Championships. For a long time I have had the desire to try out such an adventure. Right now, I see myself more at a national team than with a new club.” (h/t Sky Sports)
Could it be a disaster if Mourinho was hired & quickly sacked or if he joined up & then resigned? Sure, but what’s honestly the difference between what is happening now & that? At least that would be entertaining instead of our best player being taken off in a 0-0 game against Canada that we ended up losing 2-0.
The USMNT is in a crisis, the last World Cup was supposed to be a coming out party. They failed to qualify. The younger players were supposed to develop under Gregg Berhalter, he’s failed to do that.
Why not take a chance on a world class winning manager? There is nothing to lose at this point.
