Liverpool’s busy fixture list caused Jurgen Klopp to have the youth team play an EFL Cup match against Aston Villa on Tuesday. Klopp & the first team are in Doha for the FIFA Club World Cup. The young Reds lost 5-0 to Villa but showed great signs on the pitch. So much so that the Villa manager & top assistant paid the kids a visit after the match in their dressing room.
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith and assistant manager John Terry went into the Liverpool dressing room at full time to praise the players on their performance tonight.
