Midweek EPL Recap: Liverpool Win at Wolves, Man City Sneak Past Sheffield United, Chelsea-Arsenal Draw

League leaders Liverpool were away at the Molineux taking on Wolves trying to increase their Premier League unbeaten record to 40 games in a row. Liverpool scored first on another Trent Alexander-Arnold corner that this time was finished off by the captain Jordan Henderson. Wolves equalized in the second half on a Raul header but it was Bobby Firmino for LFC that won the 3 points with a left footed strike in the box.

Manchester City took on Top 4 challengers Sheffield United in a tight contest that ended 1-0 thanks to a Sergio Aguero goal.

Arsenal traveled across London to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a match that was absolutely wild. Jorginho convert from the penalty spot to open the scoring only to have 10 men Arsenal equalize. Chelsea again took the lead only for the Gunners to spoil the afternoon by scoring a late goal to level the sides.

FA Cup matches take center stage in England on the weekend.
