Mark Dantonio Steps Down at Michigan State

Mark Dantonio has announced that he is stepping away from the Michigan State Football program in a shocking tweet on Tuesday. Dantonio was in East Lansing for 13 seasons leading the Spartans to 12 winning campaigns & a College Football Playoff appearance.




“After much reflection and discussion with my family, I feel that it is now time for a change as we enter into a new decade of Michigan State Football…I will miss it all but feel the sacrifices that I have made away from my family must now become my priority at this time in my life.” (h/t Dantonio’s tweet)



Dantonio’s tenure featured some great moments for the program including a sporting a 8-5 record over “big brother” & in-state rival Michigan, 3 Big Ten Titles & a Rose Bowl victory.
