Watford Sack Manager Nigel Pearson & Assistant Craig Shakespeare

Watford have sacked manager Nigel Pearson & his top assistant Craig Shakespeare. Watford sit just above the relegation zone in the Premier League with two matches left. The Club released a statement on their website.




Watford FC confirms that Nigel Pearson has left the club with immediate effect.

Hayden Mullins, with Graham Stack as his assistant, will take up the position of Interim Head Coach for the Hornets’ final two Premier League fixtures of the 2019/20 season.

There will be no further club comment.


Watford are now on their 4th manager for the season & 10th since September 2014. Wild scenes at Vicarage Road with two matches left to stay up in England’s top flight.
