Last week I gave you 3 winners to advance you to Week 2. The Seahawks, Chargers & Rams all won (even though you were probably sweating out your pick but that’s the last we’ll talk about that). Here’s my picks for Week 2!
YTD Record: 3-0
Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I like the Panthers at home coming off a loss to the Rams, against a bad Bucs team led by Jameis Winston. Winston will throw picks & give his counterpart Cam Newton a ton of short fields & I expect Christian McCaffrey to have another huge game.
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
I’ll use the same logic for the Texans as I did the Panthers, team at home coming off a loss against an inferior team. Deshaun Watson will make more plays than Gardner Minshew & that’s not a knock on Minshew at all. Texans win at home vs. the Jags.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Arizona Cardinals
I think the Cardinals will have some difficulty staying in this game. Ravens absolutely rolled the Dolphins in Miami & now Lamar Jackson comes back to Baltimore anointed as the next great thing. Ravens beat a lesser team in their building.
