NFL Week 4 Pick 6

This week’s Pick 6 features 3 favorites, 2 unders & 1 over. Going to need a bounce back from last week’s 1-5.

YTD Record 7-10-1

Pick #1
PHI-GB OVER 46
Thursday night usually means unders & home teams but Mr. Thursday Night (3-0 on TNF) is going the other way. I like the OVER here. I think Green Bay’s offense puts together 60 solid minutes for the first time this season & I think Carson Wentz & the Eagles will have a game plan for that newly vaunted Packers defense.

Pick #2
CLE-BAL UNDER 45.5
AFC North Slugfest 1/2. I think we have a rock fight here. Some FGs both ways maybe a touchdown or two but I think we get a tight game in the teens headed to the 4th quarter. The Ravens have gone over in a 2 games this season but I think they come back to earth with the Browns & the UNDER in this spot.

Pick #3
Houston -4.5 vs. CAR
Houston is at least a touchdown better than Carolina. My one concern here is, can the Texans line hold off the Panthers pass rush & keep Deshaun Watson upright. I think they can & I think Watson will be able to be his dynamic self & make some plays with his arm & legs alike. Texans win by 5+.

Pick #4
Chicago -2.5 vs. MIN
NFC North showdown in Soldier Field. I like the Bears in tight one against their rival Vikings. Soldier Field should be rocking & I think Matt Nagy has found some concepts with Mitch Trubisky that work & though I think the Vikings defense is good, the Bears defense will dare Kirk Cousins to beat them & I don’t see that happening.

Pick #5
Dallas -2.5 @ NO
I love this spot for the Cowboys. They’ve heard the narrative that they haven’t played anyone, now they have an opportunity on Sunday Night to take on a talented Saints teams even without their star QB Drew Brees. Not knocking Teddy Bridgwater, but this is more about Dallas than New Orleans. Cowboys step up & get the win & cover

Pick #6
CIN-PITT UNDER 43.5
AFC North Slugfest 2/2. Ugly game in primetime. I don’t like either’s teams offenses or defenses at this moment. I think we get a sloppy game that barely gets to the 20s. Love the UNDER in this spot.
