Liverpool Wins Again, Spurs Survive after Going Down to 10 Men, Chelsea Get 1st Home Win

Liverpool got Matchday 7 kicked off in the EPL with their 1-0 win over Sheffield United. Gini Wijnaldum’s goal was the difference in the sides.




Tottenham was home taking on Southampton & after taking the lead on this Ndombele strike, Serge Aurier was sent off for a 2nd yellow.



Hugo Lloris made a calamity of errors that led to this Danny Ings equalizer for Southampton.



But who else but Harry Kane would be the Tottenham savior. His goal gave Spurs the lead for the rest of the match.



Chelsea was as at home as well but the London Blues were looking for their first win at Stamford Bridge in the Frank Lampard era. Chelsea got a gift penalty from Brighton & Jorginho capitalized on the mistake.



Willian added a goal to increase the margin to 2-0.

In the other matches, Wolves got their first win on the campaign vs. Watford. Crystal Palace scored 2 & kept a clean sheet against Norwich City. West Ham & Bournemouth drew 2-2,  as well as Burnley & Aston Villa.
