Suarez Leads Barca Past Inter, LFC Holds Off Salzburg, Chelsea, Ajax & Lyon All Win Away

Wednesday’s late window of Champions League Matchday 2 was loaded with golazos & great matches. Inter Milan struck first away at the Camp Nou in their match against Barcelona.




Barca looked frustrated against Conte’s Inter but this Arturo Vidal ball set up Luis Suarez for the golazo equalizer.



Suarez was not satisfied with just one goal & after receiving the ball from Lionel Messi, Suarez’s touch & finish put the Blaugrana on top for good.



Liverpool was looking for their first points on the campaign & welcomed RB Salzburg to Anfield. This beautiful 1-2 with Sadio Mane & Roberto Firmino put the Reds up 1-0.




LFC doubled the lead when their fullbacks’ hooked up for this cross & finish.



Mohamed Salah got on the score sheet & put LFC up 3-0 before halftime.




RB Salzburg scored 3 goals in 21 minutes & equalized with this Haland goal at the home of the European Champions.




However, LFC would not be denied the 3 points & Mo Salah put away his brace & secured the points for the Reds.



Chelsea were away in France visiting Lille. Tammy Abraham got the first tally with this lovely touch, turn & finish.



Lille’s own youngster Victor Osomhen equalized before the half ended.



But it was Chelsea who got the result when Willian’s volley found the back of the net to make It 2-1 to the London Blues.



Ajax scored three & allowed none in their 3-0 victory over Valencia in Spain. This Ziyech golazo got the Dutch side on the board.



Lyon got the dream result they were looking for by keeping a clean sheet & scoring two goals against RB Leipzig. Memphis Depay scored the first goal for the French side in the victory.



The last match in the late window was a contest between Zenit St. Petersburg & Portuguese side Benfica with Zenit winning 3-1 in Russia.
