Mr. Thursday Night reporting for duty. Big spot for both these teams, in division & in primetime. I think we get a low scoring tight contest where both defenses step up & frustrate the opposition offenses. I love both of these quarterbacks but I still see them struggling on the short week. I think we stay somewhere in the 20s & therefore I’m picking the UNDER.

NYG +5.5 vs. MIN
Our first underdog sprinkle of the week. I love the New York Football Giants in this spot! Minnesota is in shambles, the wide receivers have vented their frustration about QB Kirk Cousins & his ability to not to get the ball down the field to them. I think the G-Men are flying high & will have the crowd ready to get over .500 & start the Daniel Jones era 3-0.

A lot of people are high on Tampa & I still don’t understand why. Do people actually think Bruce Arians can tame the wild Jameis Winston??? I do not. Saints at home, coming off a win, playing good enough football in the absence of star QB Drew Brees is the pick. Teddy Bridgewater will do enough to beat the Bucs defense.

Our second underdog sprinkle of the week. The Titans are bad at being a favorite. The Bills are good at being underdogs. Not a ton of logic here so I’m keeping this one short & sweet. Bills with the points & sprinkle a little on that moneyline.

LAC -6 vs. DEN
I’m taking a shot here that the Los Angeles Chargers can put teams away in back to back weeks. The Broncos stink, the Chargers are good. I’m not sure how good & this week helps us figure it out because really good teams don’t fool around with 0-4 teams. They bury them. I’m hoping the Chargers can follow that at home vs. Denver.

KC vs IND UNDER 56.5
I know I said I’m going to try to pick spots for unders but this just makes sense to me. The Sunday Night Football Bailout Over Special will have everyone rooting for the points, that why we take the UNDER. I think both teams might start out slow especially Indianapolis & that gives us a chance as under bettors because I can see KC getting a 10+ lead & milking the clock.
