Vikings Wear Down Redskins on Thursday Night Football

The Minnesota Vikings did not punt once & only scored 19 points but it was good enough for a win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday Night Football.

After Dan Bailey & Dustin Hopkins had hit 2 field goals each, Dalvin Cook scored the lone touchdown of the game.

The teams again exchanged field goals & with a Vikings drive ending on downs, the Redskins were set up deep in Minny territory only for rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins to give the ball right back.

The Vikings added another FG & won the contest, 19-9.

A lot of talk about revenge in this ballgame but Adrian Peterson & the Vikings crowd shared a really nice moment where the scoreboard acknowledged Peterson moving up to 6th on the all time rushing list.
