All Quiet on NFL Trade Deadline Front, Trent Williams Reportedly Has No Intention of Playing This Season

There were a lot of rumors flying around about some star players being moved before Tuesday’s NFL Trade Deadline but besides an injured Aqib Talib & a 5th round pick going to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a cap dump & a 7th rounder headed back to the Los Angeles Rams, there were no trades to speak of.

Deadline has come and gone, and no trade for Trent Williams, nor Darius Slay, nor Jamal Adams, nor LeVeon Bell.

There was news about offensive tackle Trent Williams that made some waves. Washington beat writers claimed Williams would finally report to the Redskins ending his holdout that started in June but that he would not be playing a snap this season.

Source tells me that while Trent Williams has reported to the Redskins, he has no intention of playing this season.
