Ohio State Passes Biggest Test of the Season So Far by Beating Penn State

#2 Ohio State faced their toughest test so far this season when they welcomed #8 Penn State to Columbus. The Buckeyes jumped out early & held on late for a 28-17 win against the Nittany Lions. OSU marched down the field & took a 7-0 lead on this J.K. Dobbins rushing touchdown to start the game.

Dobbins scored his second TD of the day late in the 2nd quarter to increased the lead to 14-0.

Justin Fields threw his first TD pass of the day to extend the Buckeyes 21-0.

Penn State finally got on the board & within two scores on this Journey Brown rushing TD.

The Nittany Lions pulled within 7 with this TD on the QB sneak from backup Will Levis.

After Penn State added a field goal, Ohio State pulled away on this Fields to Chris Olave TD connection.

Penn State’s chance at a comeback ended on this interception.

Ohio State will most likely still stay #2 behind #1 LSU in the College Football Playoff Rankings but they certainly now have a resume booster with this win over their Big 10 rival.
