Reports: Mel Tucker to Michigan State

According to Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports & The Athletic, Mel Tucker will be the next Head Football Coach at Michigan State.

This of course comes after Tucker tweeted that he was staying at Colorado.

Tucker has been the head man in Boulder for only one season. His Buffs accrued a 5-7 record. Before coaching the Buffs, Tucker was a defensive coordinator for UGA. The Spartans job strangely opened up after Mark Dantonio announced he was stepping down after 13 seasons in East Lansing last week.
