UEFA Bans Manchester City from Champions League

Manchester City will sit out Champions League matches for the next two seasons after UEFA issued a ban on the English club & fined the reigning Premier League champions 30 million Euros.

UEFA released a statement condoning City’s actions about misleading the overseeing organization dating back to 2018. The ban stems from City committing serious breaches of the FIFA Fair Play policy.

City is allowed to appeal the decision & will face Real Madrid in this year’s Round of 16 but the Cityzens would not be allowed to qualify & compete in the following two seasons of the competition if the ban is upheld.
