Liverpool Squeak Past Norwich City

Premier League leaders Liverpool traveled to Carrow Road to take on bottom placed Norwich City to end both clubs’ winter break. LFC had the chance to go 25 points clear of Manchester City who play West Ham on Tuesday.

It looked like the hosts were about to take the lead when a ball over the top of Liverpool’s back line left a 2-0 vs. Alisson. But it was the Brazilian who cut off the pass & ended the Canaries’ attack.

Liverpool had possession & kept pressing but could not seem to finish off the play in the final 3rd of the pitch. Sadio Mane was subbed on in the 2nd half & provided the game’s only tally with an acrobatic & sensational finish.

LFC have now gone 43 consecutive unbeaten in the league & have won 17 in a row in the Prem. LFC are now 5 wins away from their first Premier League title ever & first top division trophy in 30 years.
