Atletico Knock Out Liverpool, PSG Overturn Dortmund Lead to Advance to UCL Quarterfinals

Champions League Round of 16 2nd legs continued on Wednesday with last year’s champions looking to flip a first leg deficit & PSG & Dortmund facing off in front of no fans in Paris.

Liverpool forced extra time against Atletico by ending the 90 minutes leading 1-0 thanks to Gini Wijnaldum & led in the first extra period thanks to Bobby Firmino.





Atletico scored 3 times including two from Llorente in extra time to go through on wins & eliminate last year’s champions.





In the other match, PSG hosted Dortmund in a fan-less Parc de Princes. PSG scored 2 first half goals to take the lead with their road goal from the first match.






PSG advanced to the Quarterfinals for the first time since 2016. More 2nd legs take place next Tuesday & Wednesday.
