Pogba, Fernandes & McTominay Need to Be in Manchester United’s XI Going Forward

Bruno Fernandes has reinvigorated Paul Pogba at Old Trafford. When the pair is together on the pitch, it looks like the Manchester United of old.

I would take it one step further. Scott McTominay needs to be the 3rd player in the middle of the park for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Not Fred, not Matic, not Pereira. Scott McTominay alongside Pogba & Bruno has to be the midfield. McTominay as that holding midfielder would allow Pogba to float & Fernandes to stay forward.

United’s front has gotten better with Anthony Martial getting consistent playing time & at the back Harry Maguire has done a good job of stabilizing the Red Devils defense. So if Ole can get the midfield right Man U could be on the road back to winning trophies.

Next year’s EPL is going to be amazing to watch with the likes of Liverpool & Manchester City looking to continue their winnings ways but also the rise of Man U, Chelsea & teams like Leicester City & Wolves. United could absolutely compete for the title next season if Ole keeps those 3 players in his midfield.
