FA Cup Semifinal Preview: Manchester City vs. Arsenal

Manchester City & Arsenal face off at Wembley for a chance to play for the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola once again will put his wits against his former assistant Mikel Arteta with the Sky Blues taking on the Gunners in London.

These are how the XIs set up:

City are in a 4-2-3-1 that could easily roll into a 4-3-3 while Arsenal have molded into their recent 3-4-3.

Big call for Garcia on City’s back line, in the midfield Gundogan will allow De Bruyne to go forward & up top Jesus, Sterling & Mahrez have all scored since the restart.

As for Arsenal, to see Lacazette, Aubameyang & Pepe all up front is a good sign for Gunners’ supporters but at the back putting Tierney a natural LB in a Back 3 along side David Luiz & Mustafi could be calamitous. Bellerin & Maitland-Niles should be on their back foot but need to be in the attack if Arsenal are going to steal this result.

Pick: City 4-1.

I’ll have a preview for the Chelsea-Manchester United match tomorrow as well!
