Melvin Gordon Could Return to Chargers This Week

According to Adam Schefter, Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon could be reporting to the team as soon as this week.

Chargers’ RB Melvin Gordon’s holdout could soon be coming to an end, though no final decisions have made when to report, per league sources. He had planned to return at some point in October, but could soon be moving up his reporting date.

The Chargers are 1-2 after losses to Detroit in Week 2 & Houston last Sunday. Gordon has been withholding his services since training camp because he wants a new contract.

LA heads down to Miami this weekend to take on the winless Dolphins. Gordon could be back playing with the team in time for their Week 6 division contest with the Denver Broncos.
