Sean Payton Called Bill Parcells for Youth Football Advice During His 2012 Suspension

While New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton was suspended for the entire 2012 NFL season, he was coaching his sons Pop Warner team. During the season Payton’s squad lost to a team running the Single Wing offense. Not knowing how to stop that type of offense, Payton dialed up one of his mentors, Bill Parcells.

I can just imagine Parcells getting the call, putting down his horse racing morning lines sheet & grabbing some old notebook that had every offense known to football. What an awesome relationship these two have & this story proves that at any level, coaching is coaching & these guys can find ways to win.
