Liverpool Beat Leicester in Stoppage Time, Tottenham Loses Again

League leaders Liverpool were at Anfield hosting top 4 contending Leicester City. LFC got on the board with Sadio Mane’s opener.

LFC failed to kill the game off with a second goal & James Maddison’s goal got the Foxes back level.

Liverpool would not be denied & with Sadio Mane drawing a penalty, James Milner stepped to the spot for the points.

LFC have taken 24 points of the 24 available & have won 18 straight Premier League matches dating back to last season.

In the early game, Tottenham traveled to the south coast to take on Brighton & Hove Albion. It was all Seagulls for the 90 minutes. Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris was injured on Brighton’s first goal on the day.

Aaron Connolly doubled the Seagulls lead with this rebound finish.

Brighton capped off the afternoon with this Connolly strike for his brace.

In the other Saturday games, Aston Villa put 5 past Norwich City, Burnley took advantage of an Everton red card & won 1-0, Sheffield United & Watford played to a goalless draw.
