Bama, Clemson, Ohio State & Penn State All Roll, LSU Holds Off Auburn, Oklahoma & Notre Dame Upset

What a Week 9 in college football! We had a ton of things go down in the Top 10, so let’s do a quick recap.

#1 Alabama didn’t need star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in their smashing of Arkansas, 48-7. Bama’s defense even got involved with this pick 6.

#4 Clemson poured it on Boston College at home & ran away with a 59-7 victory.

#3 OSU & #9 Wisconsin were off to a slow start in Columbus but after the Badgers had scored a touchdown the Buckeyes stepped on the gas offensively & defensively & pulled away for a 38-7 win.

According to everyone but your boy #6 Penn State was on upset alert against Michigan State, well that lasted about a quarter with PSU cruising to a 28-7 victory.

In the weekend’s Top 10 matchup, #2 LSU held off #9 Auburn, 23-20 in Baton Rouge. LSU took the lead on the ground & extended the lead with a Joe Burrow QB draw.

#5 Oklahoma’s season is not in their own hands anymore. OU fell to Kansas State in a shocker that had the Wildcats going up & down the field against the Sooners.

Only #8 Notre Dame would find a way to get #19 Michigan off the schneid & back into the win column. Michigan got the better of their old rivals in the rain, 45-15. This loss basically ends any Irish hopes at the College Football Playoff.
