Bayern Munich Sack Manager Niko Kovac

Germany’s top club Bayern Munich sacked their manager Niko Kovac on Sunday following the club’s 5-1 loss to Frankfurt on Saturday.

Kovac was in charge of the Bavarians for the last 18 months. Kovac had led Munich to become Bundesliga champions last season but currently sit in 4th place in the table. That was enough for the Munich board to sack Kovac & move on to interim Hans-Dieter Flick who was an assistant on Kovac’s staff.
