Raiders Score Late, Beat Chargers on Thursday Night Football

The Oakland Raiders took advantage of all the turnovers Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers gave them to rally & win 26-24 on Thursday Night Football.

The game started with Rivers throwing a pick & the Raiders getting a field goal. Then Rivers was once again intercepted but this time it was taken to the house.

The Chargers put a really good drive together that ended in this Rivers to Hunter Henry TD.

Melvin Gordon got into the end zone & the Chargers took the lead late in the 1st half.

But Raiders QB Derek Carr found his fullback for a TD to give Oakland the lead at the break.

The Raiders still had the 20-17 advantage after both teams traded field goals. The next Chargers drive, Rivers led his offense down the field & threw this TD to Austin Ekeler to take a 24-20 lead.

Derek Carr & the Raiders came right back & rookie Josh Jacobs put Oakland back on top of the scoreboard with this TD run. However, Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson missed the extra point only making the difference 2 instead of 3.

The game ended with Philip Rivers throwing incompletion after incompletion & finally being intercepted to seal it.
