The Story of “One Pick”; Daily College Basketball Picks

I LOVE gambling.

This isn’t a shock to anyone who knows me or listens to the pod. Being a degenerate gambler in my DNA.

One of the many problems with loving gambling as much as I do, is that College Basketball has anywhere from five to a million games to bet on every day.

I have a buddy that basically bets the same slate as myself & we’ve been getting killed because we play parlays. Now I know the rules about parlays, you better have some cash flow because you’re going to lose more than you win.

Well at first, we were winning at a 3-1 clip on parlays. That’s insane.

But of course, it all came down & it seemed like we hadn’t hit a parlay in weeks.

Then I decided that I would make “One Pick” in College Basketball every day & that would be the play.
(Have we stopped betting parlays? No, but we don’t do them exclusively at least.)

We started off 10-1-1 in our first “One Pick” plays. After a rough 4-9 stretch, we’ve bounced back to win our last two in a row.

Here’s the evidence for the haters…

As you can see, tonight’s pick is Illinois -3 vs. Maryland. I like UMD, but there is something going on in the Big 10 this year. It is very difficult to go on the road in league play. I’ll stick with that trend & take the Illini giving the 3.

Here’s the link to track the rest of the “One Pick” plays.
