Man City Win Carabao Cup, Wolves Drop Tottenham, Everton-Man U Draw

Manchester City have won another trophy. Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup Final at Wembley Stadium 2-1. Aguero & Rodri scored for the Cityzens & Samatta pulled one back for the Villans but the underdogs could not find a second half equalizer.

 

 

In Sunday Premier League action, Tottenham hosted Wolves in London in a fixture with Top 5 implications. Raul scored the winner in the 73rd minute to secure the 3 points for the visitors.

Everton hosted Manchester United in another big clash of sides chasing the Top 5. The points were split after both teams scored a goal. Everton thought they had a late winner but the goal was called back by VAR. Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti received a red card after the match had ended for his persistence with the referees.

What an another exciting week in the Prem, FA Cup matches return next weekend. The EPL is back during the middle of next week.
