ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky Responded to My Video Blasting His Cowboys’ Plan

So……ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky & I got into to it yesterday on Twitter Dot Com. Let me just preface this by saying this:




Darth Banana put it really well, I should not have called him a clown or a moron. I should have called his idea clownish & moronic. That’s on me 100%. I apologize.

Now let’s get to Dan’s plan for *Skip Bayless Voice* MY COWBOYS.



This is a plan I strongly disagree with. First of all, if there are teams offering 2 first round picks for anyone I would certainly be interested. I highly doubt that this asking price could be met for Dak. Second, Cam Newton played in 2 games last season & is worn down, no thanks. Third, I like Justin Herbert but the Cowboys already have a YOUNG QB!! Lastly, I wouldn’t be against signing Clowney for the record.


So on this week’s show I blasted Dan’s plan.




Well as you see above, Dan reads his mentions (which is actually really cool). I realized the way I worded my take it can be taken as shots to his person. I wanted to make clear that it was about his idea.

Listen everyone knows who my radio influences are. Mike Francesa, Chris Russo, little bit of Russillo & the Barstool guys. Clown gets tossed around a lot & I thought it was a clown plan so that’s what I said.




Dan didn’t respond to that last one but if you’re reading this Dan & still want to come on I would love to have you on. If not I would understand.

Now let’s take it past Dan, & into the people that responded to me.

First we have @Tampscrapsman, who called me a keyboard warrior even though he had no name or real picture on his profile.






Dunked on.

Next, we have @DavidTWalker991 who kept coming back for more in 2/3 separate threads.












David clearly has time for Twitter beef all day. I’ll try not to cross paths with him again.

But unlike the two above, here are some of the exchanges with random people on Twitter that actually ended up in agreement.











So there ya have it. It was a whirlwind after I got that first notification & it was fun going back and forth with some of the people listed above. I certainly have learned a lesson on Tuesday.

Let’s see if Dan is a man of his word & will come on the show or if that was just a patronizing response to your boy.

Also, credit to me for not putting the safety video in here. Would have been an easy shot to take but I won’t do it.
