How Weird Was the Ending of Buccaneers-Panthers Last Night?

Last night’s Buccaneers-Panthers game in Carolina was one that was off the rails from the get go. However after a weather delay, the contest was what I expected. A low scoring affair between two quarterbacks that are not accurate & not very good. Cam Newton & Jameis Winston both had multiple inceptions dropped & a multitude of missed throws.

With that being said the Panthers had an opportunity to win the ballgame with a 4th quarter touchdown down 20-14. That’s the way the game ended after offensive coordinator Norv Turner called for a fake Philly Special on a 4th & 1 from inside the 2 yard line.

When you have Cam Newton & you don’t sneak the ball for a yard on 4th down, it turns into an early contender for worst play call of the season. I know this is only Week 2 & a Thursday night game but both these teams are going nowhere.
