Cowboys & Jason Garrett Part Ways

The Dallas Cowboys & Jason Garrett have officially parted ways according to FOX’s Jay Glazer.

This ends the extremely weird “open relationship” that the Cowboys & the former head coach were in. That relationship of course including interviews for Garrett’s position while he was technically still in it.

Jerry Jones released a statement on Garrett’s tenure with the team.

I’ll have more on this on Tuesday’s pod but let me just say I would rather have Garrett than Mike McCarthy or the combination of Marvin Lewis & Hue Jackson. Yes McCarthy has won a Super Bowl but no coach that has gone to another team has won a Super Bowl with their new team. That’s enough evidence for me that I do not want a retread.

I’ll give my dream list for the Cowboys on the pod & it certainly does not include Marvin Lewis.
