Real Madrid Pass Barcelona in La Liga Race

La Liga’s title race is the best across Europe’s top 5 leagues. Real Madrid & Barcelona have 6 matches left to decide who will claim this season’s title.

Barca drew with Celta Vigo on Saturday after blowing 1-0 & 2-1 leads. Luis Suarez’s brace was cancelled out by Smolov first & then a Iago Aspas free kick.

Real Madrid secured their 3 points by narrowing beating last place Espanyol 1-0.

Real Madrid’s lead is up to 2 points & because their results against Barca are a draw & a win Los Blancos would win La Liga even if tied on points with Barca on the final matchday.

La Liga is certainly due for some big drama down the stretch. Barca next face Atletico Madrid & Real Madrid take on Getafe.
