UCL: Bayern Munich Beat PSG in Champions League Final

Bayern Munich have won the European Cup for a sixth time after knocking off PSG, 1-0 in the Champions League Final in Lisbon on Sunday. Munich kept the PSG attackers at bay for 90 minutes & only needed one goal to lift the cup.

On the stroke of halftime, the referee became the focus after Kingsley Coman was pulled back by Thilo Kehrer in the box. No penalty was the call on the pitch & VAR did not overturn the decision.

Munich kept coming though, & finally got the opener from a headed goal from Coman. Joshua Kimmich’s brilliant chipped cross met Coman at the back post the match’s lone goal.

Here’s the list of PSG missed chances. Yes,  Neuer made some great saves but the chances both Neymar & Mbappe had, should have been converted into at least 1 goal.

That wraps up the 2019-2020 soccer season, don’t worry the 2020-2021 season is just around the corner. I’ll have a full recap on the pod this week.
