Brady, Mahomes, Dak Prescott & Lamar Jackson All Impress in Week 1

Quarterbacks were certainly a storyline in Week 1, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott & Lamar Jackson were all impressive. Brady & his New England Patriots drilled long time punching bag Pittsburgh Steelers, MVP Patrick Mahomes picked up where he left off last season with his Kansas City Chiefs beating the Jacksonville Jaguars. Also, Dak led the Dallas Cowboys past NFC East rival New York Giants & Lamar Jackson was excellent in a Baltimore Ravens’ blowout win over the Miami Dolphins.

Brady was sharp with 341 yards & 3 touchdowns & this TD throw to Philip Dorsett was what TB12 does best, throw an excellent deep ball.

Patrick Mahomes walked off an injury scare & lit up a vaunted Jaguars defense with 378 yards & 3 touchdowns. These two throws show off Mahomes ability to change speeds & be accurate.

Goal line outs are very easily picked off & returned for 6, Mahomes was able to dart this throw in there to Sammy Watkins.

Prescott threw for 405 yards & 4 touchdowns. New Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore opened up the Dallas offense & Dak took advantage. This throw down the sideline to Michael Gallup was floated in nicely.

Finally we get to Lamar Jackson who full disclosure I still don’t believe will be a successful starter in this league. But credit to Jackson, he was great against a very bad Dolphins team Sunday. This flick of the wrist throw was one of his best of his young career in a day that tallied 324 yards & 5 touchdowns. Let’s see if he can continue this Week 1 form.
