So……ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky & I got into to it yesterday on Twitter Dot Com. Let me just preface this by saying this:
Wish I prefaced it this way. @danorlovsky7 is clearly talented & his tape breakdowns are really cool. Again, I'm going at the plan not the person. https://t.co/Tx7GkiSEpO

Now let’s get to Dan’s plan for *Skip Bayless Voice* MY COWBOYS.
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ https://t.co/svyV76X95R

So on this week’s show I blasted Dan’s plan.
Wish you nothing but the best boss. Sorry you feel that way about me or feel the need to call me names for disagreeing with me. If you ever want me to hop on the podcast with ya just holler
— Dan Orlovsky (@danorlovsky7) April 14, 2020
Listen everyone knows who my radio influences are. Mike Francesa, Chris Russo, little bit of Russillo & the Barstool guys. Clown gets tossed around a lot & I thought it was a clown plan so that’s what I said.
I appreciate the well wishes & it was no shot at you as a person. I disagree with your plan. I can separate you the analyst from you the person. I would enjoy a little Dak/Wentz talk, I truly apologize if you took it as shots at your person, not my intention.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
In reference to your plan yes. In you as a person, no. Again, I’m not a troll, I can separate peoples jobs and their real person.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Now let’s take it past Dan, & into the people that responded to me.
First we have @Tampscrapsman, who called me a keyboard warrior even though he had no name or real picture on his profile.
It IS a reference to him as a person or you would’ve said his take was moronic or clownish. You are backtracking now that he called you out. Just another keyboard warrior backing down when approached.
— Tampacrapsman (@tampacrapsman) April 14, 2020
Well that doesn’t define a keyboard warrior. Calling a professional names, that he would never say to that person to his face, does fit the definition. Congrats on the few seconds of fame though.
— Tampacrapsman (@tampacrapsman) April 14, 2020
Again, a person who doesn't have their name or picture attached to their profile saying something someone would do in real life….I don't think your case really holds water. pic.twitter.com/PlHEZPvB9N
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Next, we have @DavidTWalker991 who kept coming back for more in 2/3 separate threads.
It’s easy to separate a person from their take. You say “that take is bad”. You don’t say “so and so is a moron”. So what, he walked out of the end zone. Just getting near the level he did is the measure of an elite athlete. Honestly, do better.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
You didn’t separate anything. You called the man a moron.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
But you didn’t and rather than backtrack you should be apologizing to this guy. Plenty of differing sports opinions on TV, radio and pods. It’s exceptionally rare to hear “so and so is a moron”. You effed up. Own it.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
The ONLY reason you’re saying that now is because he called you out on your nonsense. The only response to him doing that should have been, “you’re right, and I’m sorry.”
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
You’re apologizing for his perception of you being an ass. That isn’t how apologizing works. You say “you’re right I’m sorry. I shouldn’t call someone who has 12 years of pro football experience a moron” honestly man. Lots calling you out on this. You should realize why.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
Funny thing about the truth, it usually hurts. Do better, honestly.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
Difference between being an ass in an isolated incident and being one full time. I didn’t say you were being one full time.
— David Walker (@DavidTWalker991) April 14, 2020
That's more than fair David, you just didn't say that previously so I took it that way. See, now that you explained yourself I know that you're not calling me out as a person to my core but just in this instance.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
But unlike the two above, here are some of the exchanges with random people on Twitter that actually ended up in agreement.
Hi Mike, there is no back track. I don't agree with the plan. Again, calling him a clown is in reference to the plan that was proposed. Instead of fighting, I'm trying to have a conversation with him. Trolling would be me not recognizing that you can separate person from job.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Good talk, see ya out there. pic.twitter.com/vz72WF5Bww
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Hi Thomas, I'm ok with paying Dak to a point. Never said anything about Russ. Dak should get less than Russ, but I'm sure you know that every QB seems to reset the market when their deal is done. I haven't heard of you with but its nice to chat.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Dak is most likely going to reset the market. Just like Jimmy G, just like Cousins, just like Matt Ryan. I would pay him 35M, I wouldn't pay him 40M. I don't think Cousins or Matt Ryan should have reset the market but they did.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
That's the position though, that's the market. That's true about Jimmy, if he hits that throw to Sanders this whole thing is completely different.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
OMG, I'm so sorry Thomas. Did not know you were a Niners guy. Love your GM/Coach combo thou. Good talk, take care!
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Hi Valentine MC, big fan of LFC. Not sure what that has to do with anything but have a good one!
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
That's fair Valentine, would love to be talking about United coming to Anfield, or LFC going to Old Trafford. Hopefully soon.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Same bro, good talk. All in for good bantz. Not sure if you saw my other responses but I can separate Dan the analyst from Dan the person. He's clearly talented or he wouldn't be where he is now.
— AJ Nicoletti (@slapsnicoletti) April 14, 2020
Let’s see if Dan is a man of his word & will come on the show or if that was just a patronizing response to your boy.
Also, credit to me for not putting the safety video in here. Would have been an easy shot to take but I won’t do it.
