Messi to Stay at Barca, Fires Shots at Bartomeu

The Leo Messi/Barcelona Transfer saga continues to dominate headlines around the world. The latest being that Messi will stay at Barcelona because he does not want to go to court against the club that he loves.

Messi staying at the Camp Nou does not mean that he is at all happy with the club. In an interview with GOAL, Messi had strong words for the Club President Josep Bartomeu.

This is not the last of what we will hear about this drama. Messi has made it clear that he wants new leadership from the President to the Board of Directors. Him staying proves that he did not want to go through a contract dispute & legal battle but doesn’t mean he won’t use his power to get a new regime in Catalonia.
